Established in 2006, The Good Shepherd School, Saharanpur, was founded with the mission of empowering underprivileged children through quality English medium education.

Saharanpur, a Tier-2 city in Uttar Pradesh, is renowned for its wood carving, paper, and agricultural industries. However, a significant portion of the population lives below the poverty line, relying on daily-wage labor in agriculture and small-scale industries. Economic hardship often forces parents to withdraw their children from school and engage them in labor to support the family. Many of these families reside in slums and makeshift settlements, struggling to meet even the most basic needs.

Recognizing this pressing issue, The Good Shepherd School was established to uplift and educate the children from these marginalized communities, providing them with the opportunity to break free from the cycle of poverty.

Today, the school has grown to 300 students, from kindergarten to Grade 8, offering a nurturing and academically enriching environment. Looking ahead, we are committed to further expanding our impact and upgrading the school to include Grade 10 in the near future.

At Good Shepherd School, we believe that education is the most powerful tool for change, and we remain dedicated to creating a brighter future for every child who walks through our doors.
